Accessibility monitoring for websites

Find the accessibility issues on your site, and exactly how to fix them.

A11yRemedy checks your website against WCAG 2.2 AA on a schedule, groups every issue by its root cause, and gives your developer the code to fix it. One site or fifty. Nothing is installed on your site.

One page, no account, about 15 seconds. Or see a full sample report.

Built by web developersFrom a team that has built and maintained websites since 2020.

No overlay, no scriptWe scan from our own browser. Nothing is added to your site.

Open standards, real browseraxe-core in headless Chrome, checked against WCAG 2.2 A and AA.

Findings, not rule IDs

Most scanners tell you what failed. We tell you what to change.

Every scanner runs the same open-source engine. The difference is what happens to the output. Same issue, same page:

A typical scanner

Technically true

Violation: color-contrast (serious)
Element: .btn-primary > span
Contrast 2.91:1, expected 4.5:1
Fix: Ensure foreground and background
colors meet contrast thresholds.

Now your developer works out which pages use that button, which stylesheet sets the colour, and whether it's a token or a one-off.

+ #2C6FA8 white text, 5.12:1

One change clears eleven pages. Findings are grouped by root cause, and on WordPress sites we name the plugin, widget or setting behind the issue.

How agencies use it

For agencies and freelancers

Reports in your brand that sell the fix work for you.

If you look after sites for clients, every report carries your logo and a way for the client to ask you for a price. Monitoring finds the problems; the paid work to fix them comes back to you.

01Your client opens the report you sentYour logo, your colours, findings in plain English, severity by real user impact.

02They ask for a quote from inside itOne button: "Request a scoped quote for these fixes." No form for you to build.

03The request lands in your workspaceWith the site, the report and the issues they picked. You price the work.

How it works

Set it up once. It keeps checking.

01

Add your site

Paste a URL. Looking after several? Add them all and group them by client or brand. No plugin, no script, no hosting access.

02

Scans run on schedule

Pages are found from the sitemap or by crawling, then checked in a real browser weekly, daily, or whenever you deploy.

03

Fix it, then stay fixed

Your developer works from the fix list, you get a report to share, and an alert if a later update breaks something.

The platform

Everything you need to keep a site accessible.

One site or a hundred

Group sites by client or brand. The dashboard sorts by what needs attention this week, not alphabetically.

Reports you can share

PDF reports for your developer, your manager or your client, plus an accessibility statement. Agencies put their own logo on them.

Regression alerts

An email when a new critical or serious issue appears, usually after a content edit or a plugin update. You find out before your visitors do.

Team access

Owners, admins and members. Everyone sees the sites they need, and nobody shares a password.

Pages behind a login

Check account areas, checkouts and member pages with a form login or session cookie, stored encrypted.

API and exports

Trigger scans from your deploy pipeline. Export CSV or JSON into Jira, GitHub, Linear or any tracker.

What we won't claim

No scanner makes a site compliant. We say so on every report.

Automated testing is the first step, not the whole job. Here is what it covers, and what still needs a person.

30–57%

of WCAG issues can be found by automated testing. No scanner finds the rest, including ours.

Estimates vary by study and site. Deque's analysis of axe-core puts it at 57% of issues by volume.

What a scan catches

  • Missing form labels and button names
  • Text and buttons with low contrast
  • Images with no alt text
  • Broken heading order and page structure
  • Invalid ARIA and duplicate IDs

What needs a person

  • Whether alt text actually describes the image
  • How the page reads aloud in a screen reader
  • Keyboard traps and focus order through a form
  • Custom menus, sliders and pop-ups
  • Whether instructions and errors make sense

No overlay, no shortcut. Widgets that promise compliance with one line of script don't deliver it, and sites using them still get sued. We find issues in the code so they get fixed in the code. For the part that needs a person, a qualified auditor can test the site by hand.

Questions

Questions worth asking

Anyone responsible for a website: business owners, in-house marketing and web teams, and the agencies and freelancers who look after sites for clients. One site is free. Agency plans add multi-client workspaces and reports under your own brand.

No. Nothing is added to the sites you monitor: no script, no widget, no toolbar. We load the pages in our own browser, check them, and report back. A11yRemedy never changes a live site.

No, and nothing you can buy will. Compliance is a judgement about the whole site, made by people. We find the mechanical failures that software can detect, show your developer how to fix each one, and keep checking as the site changes.

No. It scans any public website: Shopify, Webflow, custom builds, static sites. On WordPress sites we go a step further and name the plugin, widget or setting behind each issue.

Not to run it. Anyone can add a site and read the report: every issue is explained in plain English with its impact on real users. The fixes themselves are code changes, so someone who can edit your site's theme or content will make them. On WordPress, many fixes are a setting rather than code, and the report says which.

No. We never market to the sites in your workspace or the people behind them. Your clients get reports from you, in your branding, and don't need an account. If one of them finds us on their own, we won't sell against you.

Add your site. The first scan runs in minutes.
